Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) has commenced scheduled flights between Samara and Kiev.

The inaugural flight, which was operated yesterday, on18 May, marks the start of four weekly flights on the route. The flights leaveSamara on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and return on Monday,Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. For the new service, the Airline uses B737aircraft offering both economy and business class seats.

With the launch of the new flight, vacation in Kiev, the Carpathians and Crimeawill become more accessible for the residents of Samara and the entire VolgaRegion. Along with that, for passengers flying from KurumochAirport, UIA offers convenientconnections to onward travel through its international hub of Kiev.

Children(2 to 12 years of age) are permitted 33% discount and infants (under the age of2) without a seat pay 10% of applicable adult fare. The Airline also plans tointroduce a special fare for mass media representatives travelling from Samarato Kiev and back(to purchase discounted tickets, such passengers must have their presscredentials).
