OnJune 29, 2012 Nikolay Ulyanov, a new Director General of Samara Airport(Kurumoch), was introduced to its stuff. Up to now he worked as CEO of ZAO “Koltsovo-Invest”.In accordance with the board members official decision as of June 27, 2012 Mr.Ulyanov will hold this position at Kurumoch for the next 3 years. The electionof the new director had been initiated earlier by ZAO “Kurumoch-Invest” (RenovaGroup of Company), the owner of 71.18% of the Airport shares and the maininvestor of Samara Airport developmentproject.
NikolayUlyanov said, “Assignment to this position of Director General of the Airport,which ranks among top ten Russia’s airports, is a huge responsibility. I’m surethat my work experience at Koltsovo Airport will help metogether with the Kurumoch team to execute the project of widespread airportreconstruction within the time limits pointed out by the shareholders andSamara Region Government. High-priority tasks will include new passengerterminal construction, optimization of airport business activities andinterconnection of Kurumoch Airport with otherairports of Renova as well as implementation of new corporate standards”.
During themeeting, Director General of Koltsovo Airport, EvgenyChudnovsky, who supervises the foundation of Regional Airports ManagementCompany in Renova Group of Companies also presented to the Airport stuff thestrategy of Kurumoch future development.
Leonid Shvarts, ex-director general of Samara Airport,was awarded with the appreciation letter of Samara Region Governor where his contributionto the Airport development and main company figures growth were mentioned.
Olga Serova, Director General of Samara RegionDevelopment Corporation, noticed that starting from today, the operating controlof the airport activities as well as the responsibility for successful implementationof investment programme was totally given to the new investor.
