The Airline’sfirst passenger flight arrived in Samara today, on October 26, was welcomed bythe Airport’s management, Shalini Rajan(Air Arabia Regional Manager for CIS,Iran, Kenya, Pakistan& Turkey),and other representatives from the Airline.
“We are extremely pleased toannounce the launch of direct service to Samara, our third destination in Eastern Europe,” said AKNizar, Head of Commercial Department, AirArabia, on his arrival to Samara. “Given the historical, trade and tourismties linking the Gulf and the states of Eastern Europe, especially Russia, we areconfident that passengers will appreciate the opportunity to travel betweenSamara and Sharjah with Air Arabia”.

"Among our further plans is also to establish non-stop passenger flights to Egypt”.
Samara hasbecome Air Arabia’s first destinationin the Russian Federationand third one in Eastern Europe, following Almaty,Kazakhstan, and Kiev, Ukraine.
BeginningOctober 26, the Airline will operate direct scheduled flights to Sharjah each Mondayand Friday, departing Samara at 02:30 pm and arriving in Sharjah at 07:55 pm. Returnflights will depart Sharjah on the same days at 09:00 am and arrive in Samaraat 01:30 pm (all timing is local).
For the new service, Air Arabia will operate A320-214aircraft offering 162 all economy class seats. For vacationers, Sharjah willnot only be a premier destination in itself, but also a hub for onward travelto other popular resorts, among which are Athens, Goa, Colombo, andThrivandrum. In total, Air Arabianow serves 59 destinations from two hubs in UAE and Moroccoand across the wide Middle East, North Africa, Indian Subcontinent, Africa,Central Asia and Europe.
