Within the period of the coming winter season (October 2008 - March2009) Kurumoch International Airport will offer passengers some directscheduled flights to the cities of the North, Ural region, the Far East, Central andEuropean parts of Russia, nearby countries (Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia,Uzbekistan) and also to Europe.
Flights to Moscoware traditionally of the highest frequency. Six airlines will operate regular flightsto the Russian capital in winter, as it is still one of the most popular directionsamong the residents of the Samara region.
Along with the existing charter flights to Egyptand the United Arab Emiratessome new routes will also be established within the framework of the Airport’scharter flights programme. Since the mid of October passengers will be able totravel from Samara to Goa, the Indian health resort also known as the Pearl of the Orient.Additionally, in the end of November the direct flight Samara – Tel-Aviv willbe established. This route is expected to become very popular among travellersdue to a mutual visa-free regime between Russiaand Israel.
