On October 7, Kurumoch International Airport took part in a working meeting with an Italian delegation in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samara region.

At the working meeting with the delegation from the Marche region of the Republic of Italy, the Samara region was represented by Gabibulla Khasayev (Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Samara Region, Minister of Economics Development, Investment and Trade of the Samara Region), Sergey Subbotin (Head of the Department of Trade and Foreign Economic Cooperation of the Samara region), Vladimir Pavlov (Commercial Director of Kurumoch Airport), and representatives of some other Samara based enterprises.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of topical issues concerning the establishment and development of partnership between the Samara region and the Marche region, but also the opportunity of establishing new direct flights between Samara and Ancona.

In order to strengthen Russian-Italian relations at the level of these two regions, on October 15 the representatives of Kurumoch are expected to make a presentation on the Airport’s potential for development at the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in Moscow.
