Kurumoch international airport (part of the Airports of Regions holding) became a prize-winner of the national Air Gates of Russia Awards, Best Airport with Yearly Traffic of 2-4 Million Passengers nomination. The awarding ceremony traditionally took place in Moscow at one of the industry’s largest events: VII National Aviation Infrastructure Show NAIS.
The Samara air hub is one of the biggest air gates in the European part of Russia, with passenger traffic reaching 3m 10 thousand travelers in 2019. Earlier the airport had repeatedly been recognized by experts as one of the best enterprises in the industry, topping passenger voting ratings. Kurumoch international airport has been awarded the “four star” rating by Skytrax international agency.
It should be noted that this year the Airports of Regions holding represented by international airports such as Koltsovo, Kurumoch, Strigino, Platov and Gagarin has won 8 distinctions within the national Air Gates of Russia Awards, which is a record showing for this holding company.
