During the reporting period, the airport's operational units served 1,393 thousand passengers, which is almost 22% more than in 2017. The passenger traffic made 1,040 thousand people on the domestic flights (+20%), and 353 thousand people on the international flights (+27%).
In the first 6 months of 2018, the airlines made 7,148 sorties (+23%) from Samara airport. The most popular international destinations were Antalya, Dubai, Istanbul, Dalaman, and Prague, and the most popular domestic destinations were Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, and Surgut. New flights to Bologna, Novosibirsk, and Norilsk were included in the schedule.
