Kurumoch International Airport has tabulated the results of its business activity for November 2011. The number of passengers on international flights has increased more than 40% compared with the same month last year.

The Airporthandled a total of 132,130 passengers in November 2011, which is an increase of13% compared to the same period of the prior year. Passenger traffic figures onscheduled domestic routes showed a considerable growth, with an increase of13.5%, when compared to the last year’s figures. The overall internationaltravel in November 2011 rose by 12.3%; once again, passenger numbers onscheduled international flights recorded the highest rise, growing by more than40% this November. 

The trafficreport revealed among the regular flights the top six city destinations for November2011 to be Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Dubai, Prague, Frankfurt. 

Togetherwith the passenger traffic through Kurumoch Airport, other figureshave also increased recently. In November 2011, the Airport handled 433.4tonnes of mail and cargo (including transit), an increase of 4.4% over thelevel recorded in the comparable prior year period. The figures of maximumtake-off weight (MTOW) grew to 104,406 tonnes, up 5.5% compared to the sameperiod last year. Aircraft movements in November this year were also positive,posting a 5.5% increase.
